A tweak to our booth, a videographer and the after party all made for a very interesting second day at TwitchCon.
First things first
Let’s address the changes to our booth. The first day at TwitchCon went well but we weren’t anticipating the influx of people testing out our platform. And so, we decided to add another TV to the left hand-side of our setup (as seen below). This allowed us to split any interested parties between both sides of our booth, ultimately allowing us to accommodate more Viewers and Streamers simultaneously.

Lights, camera..action!
We decided to bring in a videographer to film streamer’s opinions on our platform (footage will be available in the future – be sure to follow us on social media to check out what people had to say about Gimbl).
The overall comments we received were similar to yesterday’s feedback. Here are the most noteworthy ones:
- Streamers felt the Gimbl platform would facilitate viewer retention and community growth through the interaction they’d have with their followers.
- Viewers were excited to be able to push their streamer heroes to the limit through tough challenges
- Non-gaming streamers were tempted to start playing certain games such as Fortnite in order to engage with and expand their audience through our platform.
The after-party
With an hour to kill, we decided to pop by Petco Park to have a look at what was on offer. We were pleasantly surprised to bump into a few people we’d spoken to earlier during the day at our booth. We were treated to music before a short downpour of rain hit us which was kind of fitting as we couldn’t stay too long as our laptops called out our names back at our accommodation!
Onto the final day
…And on that note, that brings us to our penultimate TwitchCon update. We’ll be updating our blog once again tomorrow as we attend the final day of the convention.
Thank you for checking in on us..until tomorrow!
